This is an after school Job.
We are looking for a Front Desk Salon Receptionist to act as the first point of contact for customers who visit our salon or contact us to learn about our beauty services.
Salon Receptionist responsibilities include greeting customers upon their arrival, Scheduling Appointments, answering clients' questions about services via phone, email or in person, doing laundry, sweeping, vacuuming and Daily Cleaning.
To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized and able to manage clients with grace, even during peak demand.
Ultimately, you will help boost our reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with customers.
This is a great way to start a new job and learn how to become a receptionist and learn about how a salon works.
Must be available Tuesday- Friday night 2-8 (or after school to 8pm) and every other Saturday.
Or 2 Saturdays in a row and 2 Saturdays off.
Responsibilities Warmly greet clients, walk them to the proper beauty station and inform assigned beauticians of their arrival Answer phones, Book appointments Check our social media or emails for any appointment request.
Process transactions when needed (cash and credit cards) Offer beverages and chat with clients who are in the waiting area Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability Sell services, products and gift cards Must Take Tanning bed test and get Tanning license ASAP (cost is $20 for 3 years) Maintain a tidy reception area Skills will to be taught to you Work as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or similar role Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems Familiarity with processing transactions Communication skills (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude Organization and record-keeping skills How to remain calm under stressful circumstances Job Type:
