For many, our location is a vacation destination, but you will LIVE here! Our company is striving to bring adolescent depression, anxiety, and suicide to all-time lows by 2028.
Our program serves female adolescents ages 14-18.
Students live in a family style residence where community and interpersonal relationships are encouraged.
As a Milieu therapist, you would be responsible for determining the best mitigating methods for the restoration of health.
Our 6 houses spread across our two beautiful campuses become part of the expanded classroom that consists of biking, hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, and other activities.
At New Haven we invite and encourage family participation in many of our scheduled outings throughout the year that includes our family weekends and family camping trips to Green River and Moab.
As an Adolescent and Family Therapist, you will be supported by an experienced Executive Director, Clinical Director, Administrative Team, and Residential Staff focused on the mission to facilitate lasting positive change for young people and their families.

Responsibilities Provides weekly individual 90 minutes therapy session for each of the students on his/her caseload of 2-3 clients.
Provides weekly family 90 minutes therapy session for each family on his/her caseload of 2-3 clients.
Provides support to other therapist when another therapist is out due to illness, leave, PTO, during hiring process, etc.
Conducts group therapy sessions each week as assigned by the clinical director.
Dictates notes for each therapy session in a timely and professional manner.
Performs a mental health assessment of students and families and suicide assessment of students.
Makes mental health diagnoses for each student on his/her caseload.
Communicates weekly with parents and Treatment Team.
Communicates with Educational Consultants as appropriate.
Aids in crisis intervention outside of regularly scheduled therapy sessions as needed.
Participate in weekend on call therapist rotation.
Creates and adjusts a master treatment plan for each of his/her students.
Coordinates the transition plan with parents, Treatment Team, Educational Consultants and outside agencies as needed.
Works in conjunction with the relational coaches of each of his/her students to help those complete values assignments and advance through the Family Healing Program.
As assigned by the Clinical Director, instructs co-workers on disorders, issues and therapeutic techniques, as a part of the company wide training program.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline.
Licensed or ability to be licensed in state of Utah - Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.
Preferred -Two years of working experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
Ability to pass a state background check.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
