We are on the lookout for a tech-savvy professional who is passionate about using data to drive strategic decision-making and improve business operations.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing principles, and will be skilled in SQL, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and various data visualization tools.
Responsibilities:
1.
Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
2.
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
3.
Work closely with data scientists and stakeholders to understand and fulfill business requirements.
4.
Work on data warehousing solutions, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation.
5.
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture and set up processes to extract, transform, and distribute numerous data sources.
6.
Develop and implement ETL processes, reports, and queries in support of business analytics.
7.
Develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
8.
Manage and optimize data systems and building them from the ground up.
9.
Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
10.
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems and ensure data consistency.
Qualifications:
1.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2.
At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
3.
Experience with SQL, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehousing.
4.
Knowledge of PowerBI, Data Marts, SSIS, Metabase, Data Models, and Salesforce.
5.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
6.
Experience in preparing data for Data Science and Machine Learning.
7.
Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think algorithmically.
8.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
9.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and understanding of distributed data/computing tools:
Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL, etc.
will be a plus.
