Youth Mentor
Residential Treatment Center is currently looking for dedicated responsible staff to work with troubled youth.
Job responsibilities include working directly with the youth who require supervision at all times. The position is helping to monitor the youth while they are complete their chores, attending school, making correct choices and implementing consequences when they do not. You will be responsible to take them to activities and monitor their behavior at home and in the community.
Must be 21 years or older and be able to pass a criminal background check.
Be able to communicate with supervisors and other staff to help facilitate the best supervision of our youth.
We are a 24/7 365 days a year facility! Our shifts are generally 6:
30AM-3:
00PM, 3:
00PM-11:
00PM. Our schedule is generally scheduled out 3 weeks in advance to help you plan your personal schedules.
With our flexibility in shift options we can usually accommodate most schedules. Weekend shifts are required including Sunday rotations!
Prefer candidates that have some experience working with troubled youth or studying in a related area in college. However this is not required.
Pay usually start at $9.00 an hour for Mentors DOE it can increase. This position is a part time position which is generally 2-3 shifts a week.
