Customer Service/Merchandise Specialist

Do you like to travel? Do you like working in a fun and positive atmosphere? Round House Racing is a running company look for articulate, enthusiastic individuals that help put on running events around the nation. The Customer Service/Merchandise Specialist is responsible for:
Having a positive attitude
Working with venue owners and coordinators
Facilitating participant questions and inquiries pre-race day as well as at the event
Setting up/running merchandise sales on race day
Tracking Inventory
Having Fun!!!
You will work closely with the Event Managers as well as other Customer Service/Merchandise Specialists. You will be required to travel at least 12 weekends a year (mostly in the summer and fall) and will need to work both Saturday's and Sunday's on those weekends.
- Positive attitude- You will be talking and interacting with people all day long. Strong positive communication skills are a must.
- Organized- If youre not a borderline control freak this job isnt for you (were only partly joking).
- Hardworking- While the atmosphere here is fun we all work hard. You need to be able to manage your time. When you see something that needs to be done jump in and lend a hand.
- You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and be capable of being on your feet all day at events.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
