Construction Project Administrator

Our Company provides final cleaning services on large commercial projects through out the intermountain west. We are currently seeking a Construction Project Administrator to perform the following responsibilities:
BID RESEARCH, PRICING AND SUBMITTAL OF FINAL CLEAN PROPOSALS. It is preferred, but not required that the qualified candidate have experience in the following areas:
Read, interpret and understand blueprints
Communicate via phone with the Project Manager and Superintendent about the details of each potential project
Prepare and submit bid proposals for each project
Follow-up with the Project Manager via phone or in person to answer any questions that the Project Manager or Superintendent has and determine if we are awarded the project
ADMINISTRATION OF ALL AWARDED PROJECTS. It is preferred, but not required that the qualified candidate have experience in the following areas:
Provide all information required by the General Contracts office; specifically:
o Certificates of Insurance
List the GC as additional insured if necessary
o Execution of all contracts
o Company information
o Proposed final clean schedule
ADMINISTRATION OF STAFFING FOR EACH PROJECT. It is preferred, but not required that the qualified candidate have experience in the following areas:
Communicate with the Project Manager about the staffing requirements for each project
Submit the appropriate job description to specified internet jobsites to recruit qualified candidates (if EarthWay does not have a pool of candidates to choose from)
Review all resumes and determine via phone or via in-person interviews, who the best individuals are to hire for each project
Have the hired employees complete the necessary W-4, I-9 and payroll paperwork
Assist the Project Manager with scheduling of the hired employees
COMPLETION OF BASIC ACCOUNTING RESPONSIBILITIES UPON COMPLETION OF EACH PROJECT. It is preferred, but not required that the qualified candidate have experience in the following areas:
Submit the necessary hours for payroll to be processed, or if the chosen candidate has experience with processing payroll and submitting all payroll filings, prepare the necessary payroll and tax filings
Complete via Excel a Job-Cost spreadsheet for each project
Prepare and submit the invoicing to the General Contractor for each completed project
Make a/r collection phone calls as necessary
ASSIST THE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY WITH ADDITIONAL PROJECTS THAT NEED TO BE COMPLETED
Must be honest and reliable.
Must have at least 12-months of experience with word, excel and outlook.
Must be able to work without direct supervision.
Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and remain focused on the project at hand.
Prefer that the candidate have construction blueprint knowldge and basic construction project administrative experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
