# DC Inventory Control Clerk (Spanish Fork, UT)
Vivint Supply Chain is looking for a self-motivated individual who under the direction of the Inventory Control Supervisor will help plan and organize best practices regarding accuracy of inventory count within the distribution center. They will audit cycle count, receiving, shipping, production, and warehouse movements. This candidate must have a high attention to detail, a passion for inventory accuracy, and have a very good grasp on multiple facets of Excel: utilizing pivot tables, v-lookups and other organizational formulas. This individual is specifically serving as a key control to help pin point inaccuracies and variances in inbound and outbound shipments as well as warehouse movements. They must have a keen eye and ability to communicate complex data in an organized manner. This person must be capable of communicating effectively and appropriately with co-workers and superiors, thus increasing accuracy and awareness in inventory control.

Required Skills
Essential Functions/
Responsibilities:
Perform audits of cycle count, shipping, receiving, production, and warehouse movement.
Compile and distribute inventory control documentation, procedures, audit reporting and ad hoc reporting/ analysis as required.
Communicate effectively between cross-functional teams and leadership.
Have prior experience with warehouse processes including: Forklift Operation, Receiving, Shipping, and Shop Floor.
Maintain physical condition of warehouse by maintaining lean principles and 5S programs to improve efficiencies and quality.
Be responsible for all aspects of inventory including; accuracy of inventory transfers, adjustments, receiving, storage, picking, packing, processing and cycle counting.
Establish and publish performance measurements to monitor, and improve warehouse performance.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including: Dynamics GP, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio.
Required Skills:
1 - 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
Excellent communications skills, including problem solving.
Strong proficiency in Excel.
Some college experience preferred.
APICS, Lean, or Six Sigma certification a plus.
